Mission

The Finance Department is committed to maintaining the financial integrity and stability of the City while providing leadership and direction to City leaders and executives.

About the Department

The Finance Department is responsible for financial planning, operations, and reporting. The office works closely with other City leaders and executives to develop the annual operating budget, meet strategic objectives, and propagate economic development.

Duties

Primary duties include internal controls, recording accounting and financial transactions, cash management, payment disbursements, receivables, fixed assets, investments, and managing debt.

The office also performs payroll and other related Human Resources duties. Additionally, we work closely with our Information Technology provider to ensure security of City information.
